The previous version had some big issues on windows machines running Internet Explorer, mainly having outrageous loading times and messed up layouts. This has been fixed, a lot of other new features have been added, together with a complete new layout.

One of the new features is the new media library which contains interesting material like, interviews, ads, movies and other stuff. In the upcoming time more items will be added to the media library as well as more news, on a more regular basis.

Het welbekende download platform Dance-Tunes.com organiseert i.s.m. locatie Studio 80 het nieuwe initiatief genaamd “Discover”. Discover is gericht op nieuw en relatief onbekend muzikaal talent en zal in Studio 80 Amsterdam gaan plaatsvinden. Donderdag 30 november zal de eerste “Discover” van start gaan.

De naam “Discover” zegt het eigenlijk al: een avond voor en door de muziekindustrie waar bezoekers nieuwe Dance artiesten en nieuw Dance repertoire kunnen ontdekken. Dance-Tunes.com, Studio 80, Famous Agency en de diverse platenlabels stellen allen hun faciliteiten, artiesten en promotiekanalen ter beschikking om nieuw talent de kans te geven zichzelf te laten zien en horen. “Discover” zal maandelijks terug keren en telkens weer een nieuwe line up presenteren.

30 November geeft Dance Tunes de kans aan: Jordy Licious (Be Yourself Music), Dos Palomas Negras (Dos Palomas Negras), Skitzofrenix (Spinnin’ Records), Phynn (Black Hole Recordings), Progression (Magik Muzik), Rafaël Frost (Flashover Recordings), Sied van Riel (Expedition Music), Artic Quest (Expedition Music), Airwave (Bonzai Trance Progressive), Choy Formation (Choy Records), 78 R.P.M. DJ Blue Flamingo en hosted by MC Vika Kova.

Dance Tunes initiatief nemers Denis Doeland en Peter Hillebrands: “Het is tegenwoordig voor veel muzikaal talent moeilijk om een plekje te veroveren in de Dance industrie. Met Discover willen wij de bezoekers kennis laten maken met deze talentvolle artiesten. Op deze manier wil Dance Tunes zijn steentje bijdragen om nieuw en relatief nog onbekend talent de kans te geven om hun droom te kunnen verwezenlijken.”

Rafaël Frost
Dit muzikale genie is in 2006 definitief doorgebroken. Zijn eerste single ‘Mute Your Mind’, uitgebracht op Flashover Recordings, werd door bijna alle grote DJ’s positief ontvangen. Werd door Ferry Corsten gevraagd om op zijn L.E.F. Stage op Dance Valley te draaien waardoor hij meteen naast alle grote DJ’s kwam te staan.

Zijn nieuwe release is getiteld ‘City Fiction’ en zal in Januari 2007 uitkomen.
